Zesty Meatball Pita

Marinated vegetables and tender homemade meatballs come together in this healthy Meatball Pita Recipe. The rainbow of veggies is marinated in BRIANNAS Zesty French Dressing for a fresh, flavorful lunch or dinner!


  • 1lb ground meat - turkey or beef
  • 2 Tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large cucumber, diced
  • 3 med vine ripe tomatoes
  • BRIANNAS Zesty French dressing
  • (optional) 1/4 diced purple onion


  1. Combine ground meat, minced onion, fresh minced garlic, salt, breadcrumbs, milk, and egg. Lightly mix.
  2. Roll, or use melon baller, to make small uniform meatballs.
  3. Line baking sheet with foil and bake 400 for 20 minutes.
  4. Dice vegetables and place in serving bowl (or air tight container if not to be served for some time).
  5. Pour salad dressing over vegetables and periodically stir until serving time.
  6. Serve with pita bread, meatballs and marinated salad.
