This is a truly decadent meal, with crispy fried potatoes, garlicky heavy cream, and tender ribeye steak. Serve it on a special occasion, or on an average Tuesday, because life is short. Great food should always feel this special… and this simple. Recipe by @PlatesByKody
Ingredients:
1 ribeye steak
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup BRIANNAS Citrus Mediterranean Marinade
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 lb mini yellow potatoes, thinly sliced
1 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
3 garlic cloves, diced
1 shallot, chopped
1/2 stick butter
3 whole garlic cloves
Directions:
Dice your garlic and shallots, and set aside.
Thinly slice your mini potatoes, salt, and set aside in refrigerator until ready.
Salt and pepper your steak, and set it aside.
Grab a cast iron pan if you have one, add vegetable oil, and turn on medium-high heat. Fry potato chips until golden brown and crispy. Remove, season and set aside. Dispose of remaining oil, leaving just enough to coat the bottom of the pan.
Place your steak into the skillet. Sear, flip, and turn heat down. Add your butter, a few sprigs of parsley, and garlic. 140-145F is the right internal temp for medium. Remove your steak and wrap it in foil while you make the sauce.
In that same skillet, add your cream, BRIANNAS Citrus Mediterranean marinade, Worcestershire, and chopped parsley. Stir and simmer on low. Season well with salt and pepper.
Once steak is well rested, slice it and plate nicely with your potatoes. Dip or drizzle steak with your creamy Mediterranean sauce, and enjoy.
