Mango Habanero Cauliflower Wings

These Mango Habanero Cauliflower Wings are sure to put a kick in your snack lineup on game day! Customize to your taste by adjusting hot sauce and BRIANNAS Organic Mango Vinaigrette until you reach desired heat.

COOK TIME: 30 Minutes

PREP TIME: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 small head cauliflower (if using a large head, you may need to double the batter and sauce quantities)
  • ½ cup all-purpose gluten free flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup crispy gluten free breadcrumbs (seasoned with salt and pepper) OR toast your breadcrumbs slightly before using
    • Mango Habanero Sauce:
    • ¼ cup BRIANNAS Organic Mango Vinaigrette
    • 1 tbsp vegan butter
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • ¼ cup habanero or any hot sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with a silicone baking sheet or greased foil.
  3. Using a knife, remove florets from the cauliflower. Chop the cauliflower into smaller pieces to resemble the size of wings.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the gluten free flour, almond milk, salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl to make the batter.
  5. Place the breadcrumbs in another separate bowl and set next to the batter.
  6. Toss the cauliflower in the batter mixture one at a time, shaking off excess. Then, dredge the cauliflower in breadcrumbs to coat completely and place onto the baking sheet. Repeat until all of the wings are coated.
  7. Bake for 22 minutes.
  8. In the meantime, mix all sauce ingredients in a small pot over low heat. Heat for about 4 minutes until ingredients are melted and whisk for 30 seconds to combine. Remove from heat.
  9. Remove cauliflower wings from oven. Toss in sauce and use tongs to place back on the baking sheet. Bake for another 5 minutes for the sauce to soak into the wings.
  10. Remove from oven and eat immediately – enjoy!
