Add a tasty new treat to your breakfast table with this buttermilk scone recipe. Light, savory scones have the added flavor of BRIANNAS Classic Buttermilk Ranch dressing.
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons fresh dill, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Zest of one lemon
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup BRIANNAS Creamy Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
1 egg
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients, herbs, cheese and lemon zest. Cut in butter.
Beat egg and mix with dressing, then pour over dry ingredients, mixing with a fork.
Turn dough onto floured board and knead briefly. Form into a 7-inch circle and cut into wedges.
Place in circle on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350° for 15 – 20 minutes.
Serves 6.
