Savory Buttermilk Ranch Scones

Add a tasty new treat to your breakfast table with this buttermilk scone recipe. Light, savory scones have the added flavor of BRIANNAS Classic Buttermilk Ranch dressing.

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Zest of one lemon
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup BRIANNAS Creamy Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
  • 1 egg


  1. Combine dry ingredients, herbs, cheese and lemon zest. Cut in butter.
  2. Beat egg and mix with dressing, then pour over dry ingredients, mixing with a fork.
  3. Turn dough onto floured board and knead briefly. Form into a 7-inch circle and cut into wedges.
  4. Place in circle on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350° for 15 – 20 minutes.
  5. Serves 6.
