We print each of our bottles with a "best by" date. To ensure the best quality, consume the product by that date regardless of whether it's been stored in the fridge or unopened on your pantry shelf.

A

The "best by" date is the date that the product should be used by. It reads as day - month - year - line it was made on. Whether the product has been refrigerated and/or opened, it should be used by that date. The more time you have on the Best By date the fresher your BRIANNAS will be.

Nutritional & allergy information

A

See the full attribute chart for flavors containing soy. BRIANNAS Fine Salad Dressings contain vitamin E and the "tocopherols" are derived from fully refined soybean oil. By FDA definition, fully refined oils are not allergenic. All BRIANNAS dressings are made with pure canola oil (no soybean oil).

A

None of the BRIANNAS products contain peanuts or tree nuts, and we do not manufacture any other products that contain them. For more information on our full product lineup, check the list of product attributes.

A

BRIANNAS uses canola oil because it is the best oil available for our products. When used in moderation (as all oils should be), canola oil can lead to a healthier lifestyle.

BRIANNAS chose canola oil based upon the following facts:

  • Canola oil is 100% safe to consume.
  • Canola oil contains the lowest level of saturated fat of any oil (this includes olive oil.)
  • It has a high level of monounsaturated fatty acid, oleic acid, which has been shown to reduce blood cholesterol levels.
  • Canola oil is a natural source of vitamin E.
  • Like all vegetable oils, it is cholesterol-free.
  • Canola oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids.
  • Canola oil has the best mix of saturated, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated fatty acids.
  • Canola oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids (a polyunsaturated fat reputed to not only lower both cholesterol and triglycerides, but also to contribute to brain growth and development).

Packaging

A

When BRIANNAS began packaging products, we featured various fruits and vegetables on our labels that we recommended pairing with each dressing. Then we began highlighting an ingredient featured in each dressing on our labels. Some of the classic BRIANNAS product offerings like, Dijon Honey Mustard and Rich Poppy Seed, still feature the packaging with pairing recommendations. In fact, many of our customers now recognize BRIANNAS Poppy Seed dressing because of the peach on the label! To help clarify, we added a sticker on the front of every bottle that says, "Delicious on Fresh Peaches, Ripe Avocados, etc."

A

The new BRIANNAS labels and glass bottles are recyclable. Shrink sleeves ensure that the packaging on every bottle of BRIANNAS Fine Salad Dressing maintains the quality that our customers have come to know and love. They protect against tampering while also promoting sustainability.

A

All BRIANNAS bottles have a protective shrink sleeve that seals the top of the cap. If this seal is in place and not broken, you can rest assured that the product has not been tampered with. In addition, our bottles have a white seal inside the cap (not attached to the bottle). This ensures that the cap does not leak before being opened. It also helps cushion the cap, enabling it to tightly screw down on the bottle.
